Vintage Motocross Classic – Memorial Moto Mayhem

Sunday, May 27

The AMA Pro National Motocross series celebrates its 41th year in 2012.  Since the very first pro national at Freestone in 2007, Vintage bikes from the “Legends and Heroes” have been on display for the young and not as young to enjoy.  Now you can see these bikes compete on the same weekend.

Just north of the pro track (base of Cemetery Hill) will be a newly, purpose-built vintage track.  On Sunday, these two and four-stroke masterpieces will find dirt being thrown on them purposely.

Head over to the Frederick’s Field and watch some vintage rides come off the rubber band start line.  ALL vintage groups, organizations and riders are invited to participate.

Online registration will begin on Monday, April 23rd until Monday, May 21st (8:00pm).  Online Sign Up gives you the option to pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

Legends and Hero’s present the Old School Motocross Reunion

The Old School Motocross Reunion once again comes to Freestone and the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross round at the Miller Ranch on Saturday, May 26th.  Here is your chance to look, smell and admire some of the great manufacturing of our past.

This is not only a display but a chance for you to bring out your own vintage iron (running or not).  Anyone can enter their bike.  Just bring your bike through Gate C and head over to the Vintage Alley located next to the cemetery.  $5 will cover the cost of the awards to enter and awards will be given for 1st Place and Runner-Up in the different categories.

Bring your gear.  Those same bikes that are interested may be able to participate in the parade lap during opening ceremonies.

Then hang out for Sunday’s Freestone Vintage Motocross Classic.  Come see these same bikes hit the natural grass track located in Fredrick’s Field (north of pro track).
