2015 Night Race Opener at Freestone June 6th

May 11, 2015 (Wortham, Texas) – We trust that all our Moto-Moms were treated to a wonderful Mothers Day weekend. Hopefully, the rains held off for you to enjoy it all. It has been one heck-uv-a week with the rains, hail and tornadoes in northern Texas and abroad with our neighbors. Our hope is that all of you are doing well and are all safe.

Freestone County Raceway (aka: the night track) is beautiful with thick, green grass everywhere with all the rains that have occurred and the staff is ready to host its first night race of 2015 with the FMF Texas Night Series Invitational Shootout on Saturday, June 6th by way of the North and South Texas Night Series’.

Riders that have not competed in the North Texas Night Series or South Texas Night Series will have one more chance to place within the Top 20 in points from any class in order to be seeded for the SHOOTOUT. Online registration is NOW open for Round 4 of the North Texas Night Series at River Valley Motocross Park in Boyd and Round 4 of the South Texas Night Series at Rio Bravo MX Park in Houston. Both events will be Saturday, May 23rd.

The lights at Freestone County Raceway are almost legendary for night motocross racing and we look forward to getting everyone seeded through the two series. The FMF Texas Night Shootout is one of only three times the Freestone night track will be open in 2015 so don’t miss out on your chance to race it.

Save yourself $5 per class entry by signing up for Round 4 of the North or South Texas Night Series. Early registration will remain open until 11pm on Tuesday, May 19th.
