August 20, 2014 (Wortham, Texas) – In cooperation with the James Stewart AMA Spring Championship, Freestone Raceway will be featuring the 2015 AMA Womens Motocross Cup (WMXC) from March 16-21. This new date places the AMA Womens Cup in front of the industry unlike any other time in its history.

“I am happy to keep this going” said Tony Miller, owner of Freestone Raceway. “I have a grand daughter that loves riding and she is only six years old now. I want her to have something to look forward to and if I can help, this is one of the ways to make that a reality. We hosted the Womens Pro race every year during the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship from 2008 until 2012. Some of our best races involved Ashley Fiolek and Jessica Patterson and we certainly would like to push it forward once again.”
In 2015, the James Stewart AMA Spring Championship features the Womens MX Cup along with the WMX Championship at Freestone Raceway with 42 classes that includes four Girls/Womens championships. The Womens MX Cup will have a total of ten (10) classes starting with 51cc all the way to a Womens Vet class.
