August 28, 2012 (Wortham, TX) – The Inaugural Texas 4-Step Square Dance Series weekend schedule for Freestone Raceway (Pro National track) is now released. The Square Dance Series started at Diamond Don’s in April and will visit Oakhill Raceway this coming weekend (Labor Day). After hitting Freestone in October, the last round will head to the historic Rio Bravo 9th-11th.
Every classic motorcycle to ever touch dirt will not only be on display but on the track to see, hear and smell. The event also offers riders in every Vet group with Novice, Intermediate and Expert classes with ages from Open Age Novice to 70+ Expert.
The October 14th event at Freestone will open the gates starting on Saturday, October 13th at 5pm with registration opening at the Oakley tower at 6pm on Saturday. Gates will reopen on Sunday, October 14th at 6am with church services at 7:30am. Registration will open at 8am with practice beginning at 8:30am. Two rounds of practice will lead into a riders meeting at 10am with racing to immediately follow.
