February 23, 2015 (Wortham, Texas) – Round 5 of the AMA Texas Winter Series is coming this weekend, February 28th and March 1st at Freestone Raceway but early registration is only open until 11pm tomorrow (Tuesday), February 24th. Save yourself time and $5 per class if you enter online.
Several racers will be using this weekend as their “warm-up” for the James Stewart Spring Championship and with competition looking to close out all the class championships, both days will offer tight racing. With such awards as the Bell Golden Helmet, the Vet Horizon Award and FMF Class Championship, each moto will be a fight for points. Weather could again play a deciding factor in who comes out on top.
