April 24, 2014 (Rancho Dominguez, CA.) – FMF Racing and Freestone County Raceway are pleased to announce its renewed agreement in support and title sponsorship of the 15th Annual FMF Texas Night Series and the FMF North vs South Invitational Shootout at Freestone County Raceway on June 21st.
“Much like how we at FMF believe in giving back to the grassroots of our sport, we have endorsed the efforts of Freestone MX for many years” said Donnie Emler Jr Marketing Director at FMF Racing. “We saw back then how unique of a program they were offering and knew FMF wanted to be a part of that.”
To help celebrate each riders accomplishment, FMF started an exclusive promotion with the series eight years ago by offering each class champion with a ONE-year contract direct with FMF Racing. This offer applies to each amateur class starting from 50cc to each Vet class.
“What makes the series unique is that there are two series going on at the same time” said Marketing Director of Freestone, Tom Shields. “Back in 2011, we decided to make the Pro national weekend more challenging and entertaining for amateur racers by bringing both series together for a SHOOTOUT offering the opportunity for the best riders from the north and south series to meet in the middle of a cow pasture in the epicenter of motocross in Texas. Providing a ONE-YEAR contract from a company such as FMF is the icing.”
Round 1 of the South Texas Night Series is this Saturday night (April 26th) at Cowboy Badlands in Beaumont. Round 2 of the North Texas Night Series will head to Paris Motocross Park in Arthur City also this Saturday night. Gates open at 2:00pm at both venues.
