Hit the Switch!!!

April 4, 2011 (Wortham, Texas) – With day-time tempertures about to hit 90 degrees, its time to flip the switch for the opener of night racing at Freestone County Raceway this Saturday, April 9th.

Round 1 of the FMF “North” Texas Night Series kicks off for it’s 12th year but that’s not all that is happening this coming weekend.  While the northern series gets underway, the south will begin the FMF “South” Texas Night Series at Cowboy Badlands also on Saturday, April 9th.  As an additional bonus, Cowboy Badlands will offer FREE practice on Sunday for all of those that race Saturday night.  Sunday at Freestone, the gate drops for the GNC Texas Spring Series.

Online registration (GNC Series) is open until Wednesday, April 6th at 8:00pm and saves you $5 if you do it online.  There is no online registration for the North Texas Night Series however, the entry fee is still $35 at the track.

The Texas Night Series (North and South) will lead us into the Memorial weekend of racing at Freestone with the finale on Friday, May 27th for a Texas-style SHOOTOUT.  Click on the links below for more information about the new schedule, classes structure and weekend schedules.
