December 29, 2015 (Wortham, Texas) – The days are winding down for 2015 and so is your time to get pre-entered for this weekends opening round of the 16th Annual FMF Texas Winter Series at Freestone Raceway on Saturday and Sunday, January 2nd and 3rd. Online registration remains open until 11pm tonight, December 29th.
With mother nature providing a break from all the turbulent weather, the riders will be rewarded this weekend with beautiful sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday along with some chilly temperatures in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. The rains that came this past weekend should provide natural deep moisture for the Freestone dirt.
A rare opportunity exist to practice at Freestone Raceway on New Years Day this Friday, January 1st from 10am-4pm. Practice will be organized with flaggers and medics on duty. Practice fee is $25 per rider and rider can practice any group as long as they are registered to race for the group offered. No rider is required to register for the races in order to practice however, you must be an AMA member to practice. Riders not registered to race will only be able to chose from one group to practice with.
