Round 5 of the 20th Annual FMF Texas Winter Series will be racing this weekend. We have studied the weather carefully. We still haven’t received any rain. The forecast shows to clear up by Saturday morning. Freestone track crew has the track sealed tight and rain prepped. We will wait for the weather to finish what ever its going to do Saturday morning.
Don’t be fooled by the percentages of CHANCE of rain. You have to look at the actual amount of precipitation they are predicting. It shows only tenths of an inch predicted. That is like how Sunday was at Rd 1, drizzly rain. The track never turned into a mudder, we just never had to water all weekend. We just wont have freezing temps this weekend so it should be great racing to wrap up the last round of the series!
