January 19, 2016 (Alvord, Texas) – With two rounds in the history books, the famed Oakhill Raceway is next in line to host Round 3 of the 16th Annual FMF Texas Winter Series on Saturday and Sunday, January 30th and 31st. Save yourself time and money with early signup. Online registration is now open until 11pm on Tuesday, January 26th.
Oakhill Raceway has been a part of the FMF Texas Winter Series since 2005 and 2016 is no exception. The sand at Oakhill will offer ruts and braking bumps like only the “Hill” can muster. Since there is not been any shortage of racing in just about every class and with this event serving as the GNC Finals Warm-Up, more emphasis will be placed on preparing for gate drops in March.
Practice will be offered on Friday, January 29th thus gates will open at Oakhill Raceway at 4pm on Thursday, January 28th. If you miss out of signing up online, registration at the track will open from 5-7pm that Friday. For more information, go to www.OakhillMX.com.
