January 22, 2014 (Tyler, Texas) – The staff at Swan MX is preparing for a another big weekend of racing as Round 3 of the AMA Texas Winter Series heads to Tyler. With a B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. forecast for Texas motocross, early registration reached an ALL-TIME record for Swan Raceway Park and this weekends event, January 25th and 26th.
With riders asking for full gates, the Texas Winter Series looks to provide battles all the way through the field. And don’t forget, this is also round 3 of the Pro Am events so look for the top expert riders to be banging bars for $3000 in total purse and the points to gain their professional license. With big events comes big competition so matter if a rider is in 3rd or 30th, everyone should have some great racing going on.
Gates will open at 4pm on Friday (Jan 24) with track registration opening from 5pm until 7pm for all classes. Saturday morning could be a little chilly so might want to stop by Walmart and pick up the Hot Hands Hand Warmers. It slides perfectly inside your glove. With the forecast putting each days highs into the upper 60’s, your hands will be fine later in the day.
