December 23, 2013 (Tyler, TX) – After careful consideration, Freestone County Raceway L.L.C. would like to welcome Swan Raceway Park (SRP) into the 14th Annual Honda of Houston/FMF AMA Texas Winter Series. Swan Raceway Park will race as Round 3 in the series on January 25th and 26th.
“We are pleased to bring the AMA Texas Winter Series to the east Texas and Louisiana riders” said Tony Miller (President of Freestone and the Texas Winter Series). “Swan has served Texas motocross very well over the years and is one of the staples in our sport. Swan played host to the series for a few years ago and we are excited to have Trey Clingfost and his family back.”
The AMA Texas Winter Series kicks off this coming weekend at Freestone Raceway on December 28th and 29th. Save yourself some time in line and some money in your pocket by registering early. You need a Stocking Stuffer? Online registration closes tomorrow (Dec 24th) at 11pm. For all amateur classes online, your first class is $35 and each additional class is only $30.
Freestone Raceway (National track) is offering a rare organized practice day on Friday, December 27th. Freestone will be providing a full staff of flaggers and EMT and offer plenty of track time for everyone. Riders do not have to be registered to race but will be charged a gate entry fee (refund when leaving; must present receipt and wristband on arm). Now you can arrive early. New gate hours open at 7am to accommodate everyone for parking.
