Tuesday, June 17, 2014 (Wortham, Texas) – Motocross racers from around the Lone Star state will be meeting in the head-to-head FMF Invitational Shootout as riders from the South Texas Night Series square off to race the riders from the North Texas Night Series after competing at 10 different tracks over the last three months. Freestone County Raceway will be the place this coming Saturday night, June 21st.
Since April, riders in both series have battled for a Top 5 position in their series for overall contingency and awards but at the same time riders have been ensuring that their Top 20 position in points was secure for a guaranteed spot in the Shootout. Most riders are already seeded regardless of how many rounds they competing in but a few classes may have alternates if all 40 riders register.
Today is the last day for ONLINE REGISTRATION and by signing up early, you will save $5 per entry if you do so before 11pm tonight. If you can’t sign up today, track registration will open at 2:30pm on Saturday. Practice will begin at 4pm with racing beginning once organized practice is complete. Once all the racing is complete Saturday night, the evening will be top off with a Texas-Size FIREWORKS celebration to salute all the families and riders for supporting the series and all the track involved.
