January 16, 2017 (Ft Worth, Texas) – One never knows what type of weather may occur in the month of January but if the overly paid forecasters are correct then riders are in for a treat at Village Creek MX Park for Round 3 of the 17th Annual FMF Texas Winter Series this Saturday and Sunday, January 21st and 22nd. The forecast in Fort Worth calls for the best weather thus far for the series with highs near 70 both days and sunny skies throughout the weekend.
Don’t miss out of getting signed up online to avoid your wait time. Early registration closes tomorrow (Tuesday, January 17th) at 11pm. If you miss out of getting registered online, make plans to be at the track on Friday (January 20th) at 5pm when the gates open. The first day of registration at the track will open from 6-8pm on Friday and then again on Saturday morning at 6:30am.
Village Creek’s owner Terry Cordray has spent a ton of money and time to introduce an all-NEW track on the hillside. The riders of the FMF Texas Winter Series will be the first to compete on the Vernon McKiddie (VMac) design. The new dirt and design at Village Creek will certainly bring great drama to an already ultra-competitive series averaging 788 per round.
