First Class Support from Dunlop for Texas Night Series

May 11, 2016 (Wortham, Texas) – Once you hear about a company like Dunlop Tires placing their support into an event or series, a lot of work has already occurred prior to making that commitment a reality.  Before the series dates are even announced, agreements are being made months before.

“Dunlop receives hundreds of event sponsorship requests each year and our commitment has always been the same; to offer support to as many tracks as our budget will permit” said Rob Fox, Dunlop Amateur MX Support Manager.  “So we have to choose the best tracks that represent Dunlop and the sport the best.  Each year we have a meeting and sit down to choose which tracks and promoters fit our expectations.  This includes rider entries, classes, amount of races, track design/safety and branding.  Series much like the AMA Texas Winter Series and the AMA Texas Night Series accomplish just that.”

So what is Dunlop Tires doing for the riders of the 17th Annual FMF Texas Night Series?  FIRST OFF, for every amateur class that places 2nd place overall in the FMF Texas Night Series, that rider will receive a certificate good for ONE (1) Dunlop tire including FREE shipping.  With 30 amateur classes, that’s 30 FREE Dunlop tires.  SECOND OFF, if that was not enough to appreciate; there will be TWO (2) riders at the end of the series that will be named to the TEAM DUNLOP national rider support program.  The DUNLOP YOUTH and AMATEUR ELITE awardees will receive 15 tires each.  Both riders will receive DUNLOP factory contracts for their efforts.

Riders that compete in 4 of the 6 rounds will all be eligible.  With Round 3 being rescheduled, the series still has 4 rounds remaining including the finale at Freestone County Raceway on June 18th.  Come join us at Oakhill Raceway this Saturday night, May 14th.
