May 12, 2015 (Tyler, Texas) – Round 1 of the Moto Masters was rained out back in March when the opening round was kicking off at Swan Raceway. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate then and it seems to be not cooperating now. Early registration remains open until 11pm tonight (May 12th) for the “make-up” Round 1 Moto Masters Suzuki Cup Series scheduled for this Saturday, May 16th at Swan MX Raceway Park. Riders that pre-entered for the first round are still pre-entered and are not required to do anything further.
The BIGGER question is about racing the Make-Up round this weekend at all. Right now it is not looking good according to the forecasters however we all know how dependable they are sometimes. As it stands, an announcement will be made on Friday (May 15th) at 9am to determine if the next round is a go.
For now, just cross your fingers.
