AMA Texas State Championship Weekend Schedule Released
September 17, 2014 (Wortham, Texas) – As the District Series’ are in full swing, the unity of the State Championship and the District Final provides the riders with one clear championship to claim as theirs for 2014. On Thursday, November 6th at 4pm, the gates to the pro national track will open for camping at Freestone Raceway for all racers, families and trackside vendors.
Friday, November 7th will be “practice day” for all classes. Practice will be organized allowing each group to have plenty of track time with flaggers and medics. On each race day, practice will be offered as well.
Saturday, November 8th will begin Day 1 of racing. Here are Saturday’s championship classes:
- 50cc Limited 4-8
- 51cc 4-6 Limited
- 51cc 7-8 Limited
- 51cc Combined Open 4-8 Limited
- 65cc 7-9
- 65cc 10-11
- 65cc Combined Open 7-11
- 85/150cc Beginner 9-15
- Girls 9-14
- 85cc 9-11
- 85cc 12-15
- 85cc Combined Open 9-15
- Super-Mini 12-15
- Womens Amateur 12+
- Beginner Open
- Schoolboy 1 12-16
Sunday’s (Nov 9th) classes will offer all the big bike classes.
